Council Begins Work - Thursday, May 08, 2008
The Statewide Planning Advisory Council began it year long mission on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Troy University in Montgomery. During the meeting, the council considered 20 priorities for Higher Education in the state for it's 2009 - 2014 Strategic Plan. The list was reduced to the top 10 priorities by a vote of the council members.

Second SPAC Meeting Date Announced - Tuesday, July 01, 2008
The second meeting of the Statewide Planning Advisory Council has been set for August 8, 2008. The location of the meeting will be the Bailey Building, located at 400 South Union Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104. The agenda for the meeting will be published when made available.

The meeting date for the third meeting of the Statewide Planning Advisory Council has been changed to Monday, November 10, 2008 due to scheduling problems for council members.
